Getting to A Tanners Home Inn

By Car:

There are many routes into Saint John by car.  The main highway is route one.  Coming from the south, it links us to St. Stephen and our American neighbors. Route 7 from Fredericton also ties into this highway just west of the city.

From the north, it links us to Sussex, Moncton and points in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

It is possible to come from Newcastle, Campbellton and other points in Northern New Brunswick via either route.  Please refer to your road maps for details.

For your convenience, there are detailed instructions on how to get from route one to our establishment.  Please click the links at the top of the page.  Please note that the maps are rather large so, depending on your access speed, they may take a few minutes to download.  Please print this information for future reference.

By Water:

There is a ferry from Digby, Nova Scotia which travels daily.  The schedule varies from summer to winter so call ahead to make sure your schedule is accurate.  The terminal is in the west of the city.  Follow signs to the city center and the detailed instructions for arriving from the south on route one.

By Air:

Saint John has a modern airport in the east of the city.  Shuttle services and rental cars are available at flight times.  The new airport connector road links with route one at Exit 137.  Follow the detailed instructions for arriving from the north on route one.
